Surprised, though I maybe shouldn't be.
I made the second payment on Bobbie, and her "Service Engine Soon" light poped on this morning. Sure, Bobbie's not new (at 101k miles), but still. She's not missing or sputtering or anything, so here's hoping it's something minor, like an O2 sensor or something relatively benign like that.

Yup, that's the kind of thing my "service engine soon" light often meant. Here's hoping it's just a quick little adjustment!
You know, I had my Civic for six months (still at less than 10,000 miles at the time), and that damned light came on. It's been on ever since, because I don't need a mechanic to tell me there's a jacked up sensor. Damn those things, anyway. I think they're designed to make them more money at the shop. The bastards.
